I graduated on Sunday. It was pretty nice. Except for one or two of the speakers, BuT what can you expect at graduations. I am excited. It feels so good to be a Graduate. After so many long years of just aimlessly letting life pass me by, I have found something that i love. Oprah, I will be writing you soon. She will be making room for me on her cooking staff....I have NO doubt...haha. Could i say that with a straight face. Altho I have always thought of writing her. We shall see. Right now I am working for the school in the Bay Atlantic Club and am fielding out aps and working on my resume. Not the funniest thing in the world, BuT I have been offered help by my schools student counsler and I will gladly go to her for help. She is a great person and has helped me with a lot of things. All one has to do is ask. Scriptures coming to life in your every day life..."ask and it shall be opened unto you" I feel as if should thank my Heavenly Father for the opportunities that I have had over the last 2 years. I know that I am a child of God and that He is there for me when I need Him and when I ask for His help. I am sooooo much happier with who I AM...these days and all that is from getting to know myself by getting to know my Father and my brother Jesus Christ. I see good things ahead for me as long as i endure in climbing my way up the Spiritual Mountain. I expect the growth to make me a stronger person and hope that i don't blind people with the light that i will show....(pics to come later)

I went to Ireland for 5 weeks Feb 13th to Mar 17th. I did a internship at The Park Hotel in Virginia Co. Cavan. This is the driveway to the hotel. Imagine it at night without any lights trying to lead a slighty tipsy person back to the dorms. I had to brace myself since I'm the one who is afraid of the dark.....

These are the dorms that we stayed in. My room was the one over that door on the right side. I was next to Michal who i called my boyfriend. Haha. We thought it was all in good fun. Then someone told him that's what we called him. He was okay with it. I know he wanted me anyway...haha

We did a lot of things. Or so it seemed. There is only so much you can see in 5 weeks when you are working 4 of the 7 days. We went into Dublin a lot. We went to Trinity College and saw the Book of Kells. We took some pictures before we were told we weren't supposed to. I'll have to load those later. This is Trinity....

Isn't it just beautiful. Look at that blue sky..that's when it isn't raining. It is still lovely when it is raining as you see here. This is the view from the front of the hotel. There is a golf course and then there is the Lough (i think that's gaelic for lake...i'll have to make sure)...There is a nine whole golf course. Part of it crosses over the driveway. Signs say watch out for flying balls. The lake is beautiful. I have a better picture that i will put up later.

We cooked in the kitchen at the Hotel. While i was in the pastry kitchen, I came up with this design for the plates we decorated for desserts. I started trying to to a P and H for Park Hotel then a shamrock. Tony, the pastry checf, suggested that we do a crest. This is what we came up with. We use melted chocolate and colored mango sauce to decorate. These are the Irish colors. We would pipe out this big dollop of whipped cream on the pther side and place the dessert in the middle....

I will have to come back and do more another day. BuT this is a good start

Silence

Last night i house sat for a friend. My parents place has been very crowded and I needed a little time to myself. It's amazing what you can hear in the silence. So many thoughts and issues arise when there is so much noise around and satan leaps at the chance to get his lil bit in. Silence brought back why I appreciate the things I have in my life. It's nice to know that some things are still out there for me to learn.

Thanks for letting me stay Doctor Stak....haha
